This course familiarizes students with preschoolers’ cognitive developmental skills. It discusses encouraging cognitive development through activities and play. It stresses the importance of recognizing cognitive developmental delays, and provides general guidelines for communicating with families regarding developmental delays. NOTE: This course focuses on children who are 4-5 years old. |
