| Description |
This course discusses the physical growth and development of infants. Understanding infant development helps providers to better prepare for encouraging development through activities and play. Challenges, such as recognizing developmental delays and guidelines to use when notifying a child’s parents about these delays, are also discussed. NOTE: This course will focus on the physical developmental skills and growth patterns of children from birth to 18 months of age. |
